We buy the open on the first Friday of the month. We exit at the close.

 

Amibroker code:

SetOption(“initialEquity”,100000);

Buy = DayOfWeek()==5 AND Day()<8 ;
BuyPrice=Open;
Sell = C>0;  //forced exit
SellPrice=Close;

Tradestation code:

If dayofweek(date)= 4 and dayofmonth(date)>1 and dayofmonth(date)<9 then buy next bar at open;
sell this bar at close;
