The strategy in plain English:

1. Today is Friday.
2. The calendar day is higher than 1 but lower than 9.
3. If both 1 and 2 are true, we go long at the open and sell at the close. A Day trade.

Amibroker code:

 

Buy = DayOfWeek()==5 AND Day()>1 AND Day()<9;
BuyPrice=Open;
Sell = 0;
SellPrice=Close;

 

Tradestation code:

 

If dayofweek(date)= 4 and dayofmonth(date)>=1 and dayofmonth(date)=<8 then buy next bar at open;
Sell this bar at close;
