Introduction

Hi, and welcome to our trading course!

Course structure

As you see, the course is divided into several lessons, where each lesson builds on what has been presented so far. As such, we recommend that you progress through the course in chronological order.

You’ll also find some tips on external resources that we think will be valuable to those who like to get bogged down more in the topics discussed. We also link internally to topics that is further described in our articles.

Course objective and goals

The main goal of the course is to provide the tools and knowledge you need to get started trading. Our focus is very much on avoiding mistakes. In tennis you might hear about “unforced errors”, and this is exactly what we try to achieve in this course. Simply by removing the biggest errors you can get a long way!

We wish you good luck with your studies!

Before you start we’d like to emphasize two things: trading is hard and requires a lot of work, and might not suit everyone. Make sure you know why you want to trade and why you will succeed. Most short-term traders underperform the main indices. However, we believe that by being rational and methodological you stand a much better chance of becoming profitable. We discuss this in a later lesson.
